Program Overview & Service Terms

We believe in transparency.
Before purchasing, please take a moment to review the full Service & Participation Agreement below.

By purchasing services through The Connected Family System, you agree to the following terms:

1. Overview of Services

The Connected Family System provides structured coaching and educational services designed to help families create and apply a personalized system for their home environment.

Services may include:

-        Individual Intensives (4-week coaching program)

-        Organization-Sponsored Intensives (multiple families sponsored by an organization)

2. Program Description (Individual Intensive)

The Connected Family System 4-Week Intensive includes four (4) virtual sessions delivered over four consecutive weeks:

-        Session 1: Approximately 2 hours (framework development)

-        Sessions 2–4: Approximately 1 hour each (application and refinement)

The program includes guided framework development, application discussion, and limited email support between sessions.

** Session lengths are approximate and may vary slightly based on the needs and flow of each session.

3. Educational Nature of Services

All services are educational in nature.

Services provided are not therapy, psychological counseling, medical advice, legal advice, or crisis intervention. Participation does not establish a therapist-client, attorney-client, or medical provider relationship.

4. Client Responsibilities

Client agrees to:

-        Attend scheduled sessions on time

-        Participate actively in sessions

-        Complete assigned reflection or implementation exercises

-        Communicate respectfully

Results are dependent on the Client’s participation and implementation.

5. Payment Terms

Purchase secures access to The Connected Family System Intensive service, which is scheduled based on availability.

The agreed-upon total service fee is due in full prior to scheduling.

All services are non-refundable upon purchase, except as outlined in the applicable refund policies below.

6. Scheduling & Attendance

Once a session is scheduled, it is considered confirmed and subject to the policies outlined below. Changes are not guaranteed and are subject to the service provider’s discretion.

A minimum of 48 hours’ notice is required to request any rescheduling. Requests made less than 48 hours prior to the scheduled session will not be accommodated and the session will be forfeited.

Sessions will begin and end at the scheduled time. Late arrivals will not extend the session beyond the scheduled end time.

If a participant arrives more than 15 minutes late, the session will be cancelled and forfeited, unless an exception is made at the service provider’s discretion.

Exceptions to the scheduling policy may be made at the service provider’s discretion in cases of significant or unforeseen circumstances.

7. Intensive Structure (Individual)

The intensive runs on a consecutive 4-week schedule. Each session is tied to its assigned week. If a session is missed or not scheduled within that week, it will be forfeited and will not be moved to a later week, unless otherwise approved at the service provider’s discretion.

8. Organization-Sponsored Intensives

Sponsorship Model

Organizations purchase a set number of intensive placements for families. Each sponsored placement represents one family’s participation in the Connected Family System Intensive.

Sponsored intensives may be assigned at the organization’s discretion until scheduled. Once a participant begins their intensive, that spot is considered used and may not be transferred.

Scheduling & Participant Assignment

The organization will provide contact information for each participant. The service provider will make up to three (3) attempts to contact each participant for scheduling.

If a participant does not respond after three attempts, the organization may replace that participant with another individual.

Once a participant has scheduled or begun their intensive, that placement may no longer be reassigned.

Postponement & Reassignment

If the service provider is unable to begin services for a specific participant due to the service provider’s inability or unforeseen circumstances, that participant’s sponsored spot will be returned to the organization for future use.

The organization may reassign the spot to another participant, or the session will be rescheduled with the original participant at a later date.

All scheduling and rescheduling will be coordinated based on availability.

9. Refund Policy

All services are non-refundable upon purchase, except as outlined below.

If the service provider is unable to complete an intensive due to the service provider’s unforeseen circumstances or inability, the purchasing party will receive a refund based on the number of unused hours remaining. Each unused hour will be refunded 20% of that intensive’s value.

Refunds are calculated per participant and do not affect the pricing or structure of the overall package.

10. Confidentiality & Consent for Use

The service provider agrees to maintain confidentiality of Client information shared during sessions, except where disclosure is required by law.

With the Client’s explicit consent, the service provider may share anonymized or limited identifying information for educational, promotional, or content purposes. This may include, but is not limited to, use in podcasts, workshops, speaking engagements, or other public platforms.

Any shared information will be used in a manner that protects the Client’s privacy and aligns with the consent provided.

Sessions may not be recorded, reproduced, or distributed by the Client without prior written permission from Jazzmon Trotty-Herring.

Clients and organizations may not reproduce, distribute, teach, publish, record, or share these materials without prior written permission.

12. Limitation of Liability

Client understands and agrees that the service provider is not liable for decisions made or actions taken during or after participation in the program.

13. Conduct Policy

The service provider reserves the right to terminate services at any time without refund if a participant engages in inappropriate, disruptive, or harmful behavior.

This includes, but is not limited to:

-        Abusive or threatening language

-        Discriminatory or offensive remarks

-        Harassment or inappropriate advances

-        Repeated disregard for communication or participation expectations

In such cases, the sponsored spot or session will be considered used and will not be replaced or refunded.

14. Force Majeure

The service provider is not responsible for delays or inability to perform services due to events beyond reasonable control, including but not limited to illness, family emergencies, or unforeseen circumstances.

15. Governing Law
